I’m not a huge GNR fan, but I love this song.

Try Slash post-GNR. I’ve seen two shows—front row, small venues—and good god that man is an insane guitarist. I never would have realized how amazing he was just by hearing guns and roses

His album “slash” and his work with Miles Kennedy are both phenomenal

Kickstart My Heart is also a fantastic song. Makes merging a lot more fun.

Crazy timing, I had just pulled out my 7th grade yearbook for the first time in a decade, then you post one of the most popular songs from that year (among my friends, anyway). Nice.

I used to love them back in the day. Appetite for Destruction and Lies had so many badass songs on them.

The use your illusions were pretty epic for their day too, but after being so heavily tied into the Terminator movie their fame burned a little too bright and I stopped listening to them.

It didn’t help that “The Spaghetti Incident” and whatever came after weren’t exactly great.

They fell off, Metallica cut their hair and went soft, and my musical interests changed focus dramatically.

There was a time when we all had the Don’t Cry/November Rain/Estranged videos on VHS.

I used to give that track a hammering back in the day. Haven’t pulled out either CD in a while now.

The Mick Wall book on GnR called The Last of the Giants is a fascinating read. It’s incredible that none of them are yet dead as all of them except Axl were spectacular junkies at some point or other...
